| Alberta Azerbaijani Cultural Society (ALACS) was created by group of enthusiasts interested in promoting and advocating for Azerbaijani History, Language and Culture in December 2005.
Vision: To have a strong Azerbaijani Cultural Community that will bring together people interested in Azerbaijani Culture, History and Traditions as well as will bridge between Canadian and Azerbaijani communities, will serve as a source of information on Azerbaijan and will assist newcomers from Azerbaijan.
