Azerbaijani scientists conduct close cooperation with the scientific centers of US

Azerbaijan, US discuss cooperation in scientific field.

President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Academician Akif Alizade has met Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the United States of America (USA) in the country Derek Hogan.

Mr. Alizade spoke of cooperation and friendly ties between Azerbaijan and US in variety of fields. He stressed the importance of further boosting these ties.

“Azerbaijani scientists conduct close cooperation with the scientific centers of US.” He said.

The President spoke about the care and attention of President Ilham Aliyev to development of ethnography and archeology of Azerbaijan.

Derek Hogan, in turn highlighted Azerbaijan`s ancient and rich history.

They spoke about the relations of scientific-research bodies of US with the ANAS.

The sides discussed signing an agreement on realizing the initiatives over the future.
