Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told APA that human rights, corruption facts, imprisoned political party functionaries, the government-opposition relations, socio-political situation on the eve of the presidential elections in Azerbaijan and other important issues were discussed at the meeting held at the invitation of the U.S. Ambassador.

The arrests of those detained in Ismayilli events, as well as REAL movement chairman İlgar Mammadov, deputy chairman of Musavat Party Tofig Yagublu, chairman of Azerbaijan Islamic Party Haji Movsum Samadov and other members of this party were also discussed at the meeting.

Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Chairman Ali Kerimli, Musavat Party Chairman Isa Gambar, Umid (Hope) Party Chairman Igbal Aghazadeh, Co-founder of the REAL movement Erkin Gadirli, National Independence Party of Azerbaijan Chairman Yusif Baghirzade, Azerbaijani Liberal Party Chairman Avaz Temirkhan and Azerbaijan Democratic Party Chairman Sardar Jalaloglu attended the meeting.
