Azerbaijani American eighth-grader among nation’s top science students and will have the opportunity to meet President Obama at the White House.

The Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public (SSP) announced the selection of 30 middle school students as finalists in the 2014 Broadcom MASTERS® competition.

15 years old Muhammad Abdulla has been selected as a finalist of the nation’s most prestigious science, technology, engineering and math competition for middle school students.

Abdulla were selected by a panel of distinguished scientists and engineers from among 300 semifinalists and 2,054 applicants representing 46 states, Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.
