International Cairn Unveiled in Carleton Place, Ontario on Saturday

On Saturday August 16th, Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Azerbaijan Ramil Huseynli attended the unveiling of the newly renovated International Cairn in Carleton Place, Ontario. 35 additional stones from 20 different countries around the world were contributed to the Cairn, to which previously housed only 13 stones when it was first constructed in 1985. Each stone contains a plaque stating the country of origin and the type of stone. Mr. Huseynli was among several other representatives from embassies who also contributed stones to the Cairn.
