The Azerbaijani Youth and Sport Ministry and the UN have signed a memorandum of understanding.

The document was undersigned by Minister Azad Rahimov, who is on an official visit to the U.S., and UN official representative Maher Nasser, the ministry reported on March 27.

Under the memorandum, it is planned to expand and develop relations between the ministry and the Office of UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth.

Following the memorandum signing ceremony, Rahimov gave an interview to UN radio. The minister spoke about Azerbaijan’s state youth policy model and the prospects of cooperation with the Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth.
