A working meeting of representatives of NATO/US Expert Group and Defense Ministry specialists on support for the development of certain areas of the military education system has kicked off in Baku.

The meeting is being held at the Military Academy of Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

The meeting will focus on the study and application of NATO member-states’ experience, as well as strategic planning, humanitarian programs, national and regional security, energy security, exchange of specialists, cooperation of working groups and methodology of the military education.

US Naval Academy national security affairs professor Thomas R. Fedyszyn and expert of NATO Political Affairs and Security Policy Division (PASP) Mariusz Solis will deliver lectures at the event.
