Vitaliy Baylarbayov, Deputy Vice President for marketing and investment at Azerbaijan`s state oil company, SOCAR, has given a lecture to students of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He provided an insight into the company`s projects and investment programs abroad.
Baylarbayov said through its energy projects Azerbaijan was greatly contributing to ensuring energy security both in the region and in Europe. He highlighted Shahdeniz-2 and Southern Gas Corridor projects.
Other speakers at the event included Al Cook, BP Shahdeniz development vice president, and Brenda Shaffer, a visiting professor at Georgetown University in Washington.
