Thomas Goltz: Azerbaijan is becoming intellectual center of the world
Azerbaijan is becoming the intellectual center of the world, Thomas Goltz, an adjunct professor of Political Science at Montana State University, who attended the Baku International Humanitarian Forum, has told AzerTAc.
He said the Forum brought together approximately 800 guests from 70 countries, including prominent public and political figures, former heads of state, and Nobel Prize winners.
Mr Goltz noted the Forum was of tremendous importance to Azerbaijan. “I am very happy that I am here today and have the opportunity to express my opinion.”
He also provided an insight into his “Azerbaijan Diary” book.
“It is about 1991-1996 years when Azerbaijan faced a devastating war. The book was published in 1998.”
Mr Goltz said a relatively small book about Azerbaijan in English language would be published next spring.
