The U.S. company Arthur J. Finkelstein & Associates (AJF) has made public the results of the exit poll at the Independent Press Center. According to the representative of the organization George Bombio that AJF Associated held 6,000 interviews, which ran six hours in 125 constituencies. According to him, the poll results saw the incumbent President Ilham Aliyev winning 82.7% of votes, followed by Jamil Hasanli with 8.8% and third-placed Gudrat Hasanguliyev 1.7%. According to him, Igbal Alizade gained 1.6%, Araz Alizade 1.2%, Hafiz Hajiyev 0.7%, Ilyas Ismayilov 0.9%, Sardar Mammadov 0.6%, Zahid Oruj 0.9%, Faraj Guliyev 0.9%.
