Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has attended a meeting of the Foreign Ministerial Council of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM on the sidelines of the 68th Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 68) in New York.

On the success of ongoing field cooperation among Member States within GUAM, Minister Mammadyarov said deepening this cooperation would enable further development of closer ties among the members and undertaking of joint efforts at the international arena.  

During the meeting, the Council of Foreign Ministers discussed cooperation with partner states and international organizations, draft resolution to be put on the agenda of UN General Assembly`s 68th Session on “Cooperation between UN and Organization for Democracy and Economic Development-GUAM” and cooperation in the field of transport, tourism, economy, culture, science and energy.
