US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar has today visited Lankaran region of the country.
During the visit, he met with Head of the Executive Power Taleh Garashov, who  recalled the ambassador`s visit to Lankaran last year, and informed him on the work being carried out in the region since that period.
Morningstar hailed changes in Lankaran during the past year, and expressed satisfaction with the allotment of landsite to the construction of American Center.
The sides have also discussed the issues concerning upcoming presidential elections in Azerbaijan, and stressed the importance for holding free and transparent elections.
During the visit, the Ambassador has also visited “Lankaran Konserv” Ltd and “Palsud” Ltd.
