Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov will be on a visit to New York to participate in discussions on communications and information technologies within the 67th session of the UN General Assembly to be held on September 4-5.

Minister Ali Abbasov, President of the UN General Assembly Vuk Jeremic, UN Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs Wu Hongbo will act as keynote speakers at the session.

Discussions at the session will be held within the framework of the resolution passed by the UN General Assembly on the establishment of Eurasian Connectivity Alliance (EuraCA), initiated by the Government of Azerbaijan.

During the visit, Minister Ali Abbasov will also hold bilateral meetings with UN officials and company executives.
