Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov,  is on a visit to New York to participate in the discussions in the UN Security Council on the topic: “The Role of the United Nations and regional and subregional organizations in the protection of international peace and security” scheduled August 6.

The meeting will be chaired by the President of Argentina, Cristina Kirchner.

It is expected that  Mammadyarov, who will hold  a number of bilateral and meetings will  also make a speech.
