Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on July 4 received a US delegation led by member of Senate Committee on Armed Forces, Senator Roger Wicker, Azertag state news agency reported .

They hailed the relations between Azerbaijan and the US in different fields, and stressed the importance of mutual visits in terms of expansion of the bilateral cooperation.

They expressed confidence the US delegation`s visit would contribute to strengthening the US-Azerbaijan ties.

They exchanged views over further development of the relations between the two countries.
