Azerbaijani Students Association at Toronto, Calgary and McGill Universities of Canada have issued a statement condemning the beating of the Azerbaijani Diaspora members, head of the House of Azerbaijan in Paris, Mirvari Fataliyeva and Vusal Huseynov at the National Assembly in Paris.
According to Azerbaijan Embassy to Canada, the statement says, students expressed frustration on that, although that the incident occurred in the presence of French parliament members, none of them did take any preventive action.
This incident once again confirms that the efforts made by the Azerbaijani side to inform the world community about the realities of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cause Armenians’ concern.
The statement strongly condemned the beating of the two Azerbaijani citizens in France’s National Assembly and demanded from French law enforcement officials to investigate the incident.
