HBSCA(Houston Baku Sister City Association) director and artist Saida Hagverdi has been selected as one of the artist laureates to participate an international public art project developed by the Texan-French Alliance for the Arts and 9eme Concept, the 9th Concept, a Parisian artists collective. In collaboration with many Houstonian artists, educational, cultural, and community organizations will be participating and 60 doors will be transformed into works of art in 16 locations throughout the city this year. One side will be a work of art by a French artist and the other by a Texan artist. Participants are professional artists from France and Texas, as well as local art professors and students laureates.
