A response has been given to the White House petition on the recognition of the Khojaly genocide and occupation of the Azerbaijani lands.

This response shows that the peace process should be strengthened, MP Rasim Musabayov has told Gun.Az.

He noted that the important thing was to collect 100,000 signatures for the petition.

“Of course, we should not be satisfied with the reaction of the White House. On the other hand, no one expected that the White House will reprobate Armenians. We have newly launched this work.

As you know, serious work is under way in the United States regarding the recognition of the Khojaly genocide, and several states have already recognized it.

I think that after 10 or more states recognize the Khojaly genocide, the position of the White House on this issue will change.”
