A concert of Azerbaijani mugham has been held at the University of California, Berkeley.
Supported by Azerbaijan`s Consulate General in Los-Angeles the concert saw trio Imamyar Hasanov, Rufat Hasanov and Elshan Gasimov perform pieces of mughams, including Chahargah, Bayati Shiraz, Mahur, Shur, Shahnaz and Segah to a storm of applause by the audience.
The concert was watched by the University`s professor and student staff, and music experts. The Azeri trio also performed at Stanford University, California.
